Ted & Angel (with favorite chewie bone)

Ted Mason served as Board President for the first year of the current elected Board’s two-year tenure, but for health reasons relinquished the role to Glenn Anderson. Ted continues to advise and assist the Board from his deep knowledge of this community, having lived in Camelot for twenty-six years.

Ted grew up on Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island, worked in a family shore restaurant (later owning a catering business for two decades), attended college in West Virginia, and earned his graduate degree in Pennsylvania. He then worked in social services, focusing on addiction treatment. Next, he worked at the Historical Society in Reading, Pennsylvania, chairing the Architectural Review Board of three historic districts in that city. He retired and moved to Camelot in 2000 with his partner and, in recent years, has taught aquatics exercise at the YMCA and here at Camelot’s pool, while volunteering at New Life Thrift. Ted is taking watercolor classes, loves to garden, and is an avid American history buff. He and Angel visit the ocean on a regular basis for doggo beach exercise.    

Alice & Gracie Slick (a bit camera shy) 

Alice Casey manages the HOA mailing list, processes membership forms and relays dues payments to Tom, writes the minutes for every Board meeting, and contributes her executive experience during the Board’s decision-making process. She solicits new members at social events, as well, signing residents up as they walk through the clubhouse door.

Alice has been a full-time resident of Camelot since 1917, and previously lived in Wilmington Delaware where she worked for the Delaware Transit Corporation and AIG, the insurer. She has experience in project management and financial planning. A mother and grandmother, she is a strongly family-oriented person.

Tom & Bailey at the Beach

Tom Angus, as Treasurer, maintains the HOA’s financial records, deposits member dues, records expenses incurred for HOA business and events, and reconciles bank accounts. He also makes recommendations regarding banking and investment strategies, while making sure that the HOA is current with its Delaware corporation status and in filing non-profit reports with the IRS and the state of Delaware.

Tom has been a resident of Camelot since 1917 and has served as both Secretary of the HOA Board and as its President for a combined total of five years. He shares his home with Becky, his significant other, and his two dogs, Bailey and Broidy. Tom currently works as a freelance accountant and tax preparer. Prior to moving to Delaware, he lived in Purcellville, Virginia where he worked as the town’s budget and finance accountant.

Laurel & Lulu

As Chair of the HOA’s Community Building Initiatives program, Laurel Marshfield launched this project in 2025 and has presented on this and other topics at community meetings. Several Interest Groups have formed as a result, bringing residents together who share an interest in reading, T’ai Chi, Frisbee Sports, and gardening. She writes communications for the HOA Board, and built and wrote the content for our new Camelot website: camelotmeadowshome.com The site is designed to inform Camelot residents and create community.

Laurel has been a Camelot resident since 2012, when she moved here from Center City Philadelphia, not far from Independence Hall. A former Copy Director for a marketing-public relations firm, she launched her freelance ghostwriting business (Blue Horizon Communications) in 2001, and continues to ghostwrite and developmentally edit books for clients. She also wrote front of the book articles for Delaware Beach Life Magazine, soon after arriving in Rehoboth. She especially appreciates the trees, birds, and animals that live in the park and maintains many birdfeeders and birdbaths year ‘round. In her years here she has tried to create gardens around her house with varying degrees of success, but unwavering delight.
